Most of us are familiar with problems like climate change, and we know that we need to go green or help the environment for the sake of our future, yada yada. We always hear about how a new species is going extinct, or how coral reefs are in danger of dying out. How we need to stop using plastic straws and bags to help sea turtles.
But there’s a lot of information out there on going green, and in a lot of cases people often get stuck because they don’t know where to start. There is a lot just one person can do to help the environment, so it is pretty easy to get lost in all of that.
So that’s what I want to help with! Untangling the whole mess of information and making it a lot simpler and more accessible for you to be more aware of environmental issues, and how you can help in your own way.
Here’s some of the things I’ll be talking about. You can access these categories up in the Posts tab!
Most of us know that humans don’t have the best effect on the environment, but making a lifestyle change can be difficult and a little more complicated than expected.
Here’s a couple posts to help you navigate the whole mess.
Things like climate change and pollution are pretty widely talked about, but they’re far from the only issues wildlife face. Here’s a couple of others you might not know about.
This category is more for general awareness and delving deeper into common issues, and shedding a light on some other problems you may not have known about.
Here in Singapore, many of us are actually surrounded by wildlife, whether or not we notice it.
This category’s more geared towards local wildlife, how to spot and safely observe them, and what you should do if you’re lucky enough (or unlucky enough!) to ever encounter them.
